Yes. ElectionChamp provides fully anonymous ballots: votes are encrypted with AES-256 and separated from voter identity. No one, including church leadership or ElectionChamp, can see how any individual member voted. This is a true secret ballot, and in most cases exceeds the privacy standards of paper ballot methods where chain of custody can be questioned.
The voting experience is designed to be as simple as possible: click a link, see the ballot, tap your choices, and submit. There are no accounts to create, no apps to download, and no passwords to remember. For members who need extra help, a trusted volunteer can assist them at church using the member's unique voting key on a shared device, without ever seeing their ballot choices, since the ballot is submitted by the member directly.
Absolutely. Set a voting window of several days, so members can vote on their phones during the Sunday announcement or at home during the week. Mention the vote from the pulpit, have members pull out their phones, then send a reminder from your dashboard to anyone who hasn't voted yet.
Yes. You can add an "Abstain" option to any ballot item. This is especially useful for pastoral call votes and other sensitive decisions where some members may want to participate without voting for or against. Abstentions are counted and reported separately from yes/no votes.
