For most internal union elections and ratification votes, yes. Many unions already use electronic voting for officer elections, contract ratifications, strike authorizations, and bylaw amendments. ElectionChamp provides encrypted ballots, unique voter keys, anonymous voting and a complete audit trail. Note: NLRB-supervised representation elections have separate rules. We recommend confirming with your union's legal counsel for specific regulatory requirements.
Only you and the observers you add can see results and turnout, and members see results only if you share them. With the default setting, no one sees the count until voting ends, you included. For members without email or a phone number on file, turn on Hand out keys in the Start step, then download their keys after launch to print for in-person or mail distribution. A union representative can also enter a vote on a member's behalf using that member's key at a voting station.

Yes, exactly. The election administrator can see participation data (who has voted and who hasn't), which is useful for targeted reminders and quorum tracking. But the actual ballot choices are anonymous and encrypted. No one can connect a specific vote to a specific member. This is by design and cannot be overridden.
